Re: LS1 into a 73 cheyenne
i wanted to incorporate some custom emblems into my build that represented the Z06 that fit my theme truck, and sure enough some one from this forum came through. Mr Mike AKA mcbassin from Mcloud, OK. thank you sir. Hit him up. This forum is inundated with talented individuals that have one common interest Chevy's

Re: LS1 into a 73 cheyenne
Be nice if you could polish the area around the "Z" & then do matte black for the rest with the "10" & "LS1" in red!!!
Build's looking fantastic man!

Re: LS1 into a 73 cheyenne
I have a question, on the other C10 & K5, did you use the stock K-member(s) with the F-Body oil pan(s)?
Thanks!!

Re: LS1 into a 73 cheyenne
Yes, all stock components including the stock f-body oil pans. I used Street & Performance motor mount plates.

Re: LS1 into a 73 cheyenne
i have been absent for a minute but im here to anounce the news i just got a sweet pair of these Slosh Tubz http://www.facebook.com/pages/SloshTubz/174527065934455
it will save me some valuable time from building one. I dont have one yet so i cant post pics of the trim and fit on a 73 but i will not relocate my hinge, i did alot of work to fit this particular hinge and im not about to redo it again. i will either cut down the tub to clear the hinge or cut a pocket to clear the hinge. see sample pics

Love the emblems and the tubs will really clean up the engine bay and are nice because you will still see your sweet a-arms. Build is looking awesome!

Re: LS1 into a 73 cheyenne
Mike has some sweet tubs, I may get some as well once I get to that part of my build, & I hve seen the previous post of the hinges, but I still have to say that those hinges are off the chain! ---->Drool!
