I don't see why 67-68 FULL wheel covers will not fit

Re: Whose on Steelies? Post 'em up!

Got rid of the '93 steelies for some '06 Dodge steelies, with some 285-70/17 tires. Just need some spacers to put them where I want them.

Those 68 fenders are a pretty good match on your 67!

Its funny you say that. Ones a 67, and the other is a 68. The fender you can see in the pic is a 67 fender that the previous owner screwed a lense too. I was shocked when I took it off and there was no hole behind it. Lol

Re: Whose on Steelies? Post 'em up!

One of my customers showed my some 22x9 smoothie wheels he acquired for his '55 Suburban, those look clean. It almost made me think about a six lug conversion for the C20. I've always thought modern alloys just don't look quite right on these old trucks.

Kinda figured that. But it doesn't hurt to ask.
I may look for some others. I'm a sucker for the dog dish caps.

Re: Whose on Steelies? Post 'em up!

I'll play, my 67's got later model 4x4 rallyes. Now i don't have a 4x4 obviously so i don't want the 4x4 style caps. Is there a way to put car center caps( i have a set of 66 impala caps that i would love to have on the truck but i am not sure if there is a way to get these caps on these steels? Or is there a style 6 lug rim that i can mount these caps too? my buddy has 16.5 6 lugs off a 3/4 ton but they are too skinny for me. I thought i saw another style 6 lug in one of these pictures but not sure. Anybody got any thoughts?

Just buy different emblems for the centers...car caps are 5 lug. Your buddy's "3/4 ton 6 lugs" are not 3/4 ton. 3/4 and 1 tons have 8 lug.

well they arent off a 3/4 ton they are just heavy duty wheels i dont know why i said that. Those rims and other 6 lugs have the little lumps for mounting center caps. My wheels have three screws that mount the caps. What are the ones with the lumps called?
