Re: The 6.0 Silverado Build
Yeah, pretty much. Wish I had never sold it. I will take partial trades on a really nice roller 67-72 shortbed.

Re: The 6.0 Silverado Build
I've had 8 of them. I will try to dig up some pics. The last one was a 72 Cheyenne Super shortbed with tach, tilt, am/fm, A/C, etc. Wish I had had the space to finish it at the time.

Don't let Josh and Chuck suck you in man! They're in the black hole of trucks
Just kidding man. Good luck with the sale. I really wish I could hit the lottery soon so I could buy yours, and f.monroe's truck. Keep us updated on the 67-72 search. |

Re: The 6.0 Silverado Build
Wow! I can't believe you are getting rid of it. I know how it is when you really want something else though. Nice price on it as well. Someone will be getting a really good deal considering everything you have done. Your price without the Coys is freaking awesome IMO. I wish I wasn't so far into mine, It would be much cheaper just to buy yours...Good luck with the sale man!

Re: The 6.0 Silverado Build
I'm curious how much shipping costs to get coys shipped?
The wife wants coys on her '66, but this has me worried about shipping. Posted via Mobile Device

Re: The 6.0 Silverado Build
I think it's because he doesnt want to lose money on wheels and tires that have no miles on them. They are more than 2000 shipped.
I really can't believe the little passive aggressive dig from someone on the forum staff Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: The 6.0 Silverado Build
lets use a little common sense here Joe... it would be kinda hard to move the truck without tires on the coy's. and tire's alone are gonna be all of $800. we are not even talking about shipping yet! i'm pretty sure he's already got 2 of the 4 tires already

Re: The 6.0 Silverado Build
I'm not trying to get a dig in.
No need to get defensive. I really want to know what shipping cost. His ad says no tires....so what am I missing? How much is shipping? I haven't checked shipping, but on the coys site 20x8.5's polished are $275 and 20x10's polished are $325. I know that is without shipping so I'm just trying to figure out what other costs are involved. And in Josh's ad i thought he said he would prefer to keep the coys. I have over priced stuff I didn't want to sell before, so I was curious. Posted via Mobile Device

Re: The 6.0 Silverado Build
heck maybe im wrong about the tires then. but i just don't understand why you would post a comment like that in this thread. that should be more of PM material. don't you think?

Re: The 6.0 Silverado Build
I guess I don't understand what the big deal is......
Maybe it was my wording? Or what? There was no disrespect intended..... And for the record 10k is a great deal without the coys IMO and a smoking deal with them. Posted via Mobile Device

Re: The 6.0 Silverado Build
the big deal is Josh is trying to sell something and you basically said he is over priced. without actually saying it i just talked to him and he bought a set of pilots that cost over $300 per tire for the coys. so he'd rather not sell the coy's with the truck. but if someone wants it like the pics they are gonna want/need the coys

Re: The 6.0 Silverado Build
Well, after alot of fun and an awesome learning curve it's sad to say the 6.0 Silverado is gone. I have had alot of fun on this one and it is one of the nicest trucks I've ever put together but I've decided I have a couple MUCH more important things in my life and I really need the cash to get out of a bind that will in turn make my life much easier. So, I'm not going anywhere and I will definately have another project but you will have to wait to see what that is! Thanks for all the help from everyone.

Re: The 6.0 Silverado Build
Don't worry guys this truck is going to a good home. Josh has done a great job with the build, and I've wanted this truck since he started on it. I'm happy to get the opportunity to own it. I'll do my best to keep this thread update with progress.

Re: The 6.0 Silverado Build
I figured it would sell pretty quickly, given the quality of the work and parts involved. Looking forward to seeing it back on the road soon!
