Other than the black hub, I imagine they're the same. I did opt for the upgraded rotors vs standard C5 13" (I got the DBA 4000 13.4" Z51 spec'd solid rotors). Very nice package & Tobin was great to work with.

That's the cool thing about the Kore3 stuff- you can upgrade to ANY of the C5/C6 brake setups, including the monster Z06/GrandSport setups. I don't have the spoke clearance for the bigger rotors due to the way my wheels are shaped, so 13"-ish will have to do for now. Anything has gotta be better than the current push-and-pray.

My spindles are 1" rotor Belltechs, so these are actually the hubs spec'd for an Impala SS. They do offer hubs for both light-duty and heavy-duty truck spindles, but I don't see them listed on his webpage...

The drop spindles required less material to be removed when I did them.

Will do! I really wonder why more people haven't done this conversion- maybe it just needs a little advertisement. If this works out the way it's looking like it will, I may do a separate write-up. This can be done on the cheap, like ~$500 if you're willing to shop around know what you're looking for.

Good news! I think I'll have a machine shop do the drilling/tapping on the Belltechs- one, to make sure they're right, and two, my hands are killing me from tapping those 1/2-13 holes...

...and wheel fitment. Due to the shallow hat on the rotor and the huge caliper, the caliper is extremely close to my wheel spokes. So close, in fact, that I'll have to install brake pads to determine if it's going to hit or not. With the caliper FULLY extended, it just barely grazes the back of the spoke- I'm hoping the pads are thin enough to allow some clearance, if not, I may need a small spacer. Coy's C5s apparently don't have this issue...

They do look good in there, though

Thanks for the positive comments- your truck looks outstanding, as well. Wish I could afford the TVS! As for this past year: man, you are NOT kidding! It has been a downpour of blessings and they just keep coming...



...so do the parts, for that matter--ordered Bilstein HD shocks all the way around today thanks to some help from Portmod Also, after seeing the plethora of negative commentary on the quality and general dissatisfaction with AGR steering boxes, I also picked-up a 'RedHead' quick-ratio steering box. I'd like to do the NoLimit R&P, but can't swallow the $800 price tag right now, plus I'd have to change engine mounts = not currently worth it. Maybe a future mod if the new box doesn't satisfy my needs.

More parts arriving daily:

Porterbuilt (Addco) front anti-sway bar arrived today, required to compliment the forthcoming PB control arms. At 31lbs shipping weight and 1.25" diameter, it should be beefy enough to handle anything I can throw at it. It has all required hardware, including bushings that require NO GREASE
