I can almost smell the grease. It make me want to work on my truck.

Went for a drive with my son on Sunday. Of course we had to stop for some slushes. Here in this picture is another cool feature of these trucks. My son loves this.

Also don't throw out those old tv trays. They come in handy for the small jobs.

Oh the joy of making AN lines. Just glad I'm done with that part of the stepside. But I'll get to do it again on the fleetside. Nice idea with the TV trays

Re: What did you do to your truck today part III

Finished waiting on fedex to bring my boxes. Now to line up the priorities to install the disc brake frontend on the 65 ramptruck.
The 65 stepside needed a new int/exh gasket. Did not have enough useage of my hands
to accomplish the job, farmed it out. Should b back today.

Re: What did you do to your truck today part III

My trucks original wheels sold to Hotrod Rick who came in his Chevy van to collect! after his SatNav dropped him about 5 miles from where we live. Love technology at times.

Cool custom, with little touches like Ford Sierra (Mondeo) door latches, locks, mk1 Mini fan and controls in the dash. His plans are a complete re-spray, the Chrome smoothies and to use it as a daily and for his business.

Money handed over to Nicola to stash under the mattress for when I buy tyres for the Rallyes.

Re: What did you do to your truck today part III

I actually got a little done today.

I bent the new fuel line that goes through the cab floor...

and I tried my first single and (then here) double flare. I think it worked.

Re: What did you do to your truck today part III

Ended up removing the rear passenger cab support. Low and behold found out that the floor underneath was toast, as is the cab corner. So I ordered cab corners, rockers as they are gone too, and we used a chunk of what good metal was left on the front floor to patch the rear floor.
