Re: 68 project
Yes, it adjusts at the top at the factory mounting point and yes it also comes with the left side spacer to even out the axle. I guess I just gained almost another 1/4"of drop

Re: 68 project
What is the best way to adjust the track bar to get rear axle centered? I installed mine but haven't set it up perfectly yet. I measured from a point on axle flange to the frame on both sides. Does that seem correct? Thanks and great work on everything.

Re: 68 project
It's a little weird because of the offset pinion not being centered in the housing

Re: 68 project
Well yesterday I began the process of running the wires for the tail lights and the fuel pump from the rear to the front. The agony begins Had ordered my front to rear tail light harness and my rear tail light harness and the plugs do not even match up. WHY !!!!

Re: 68 project
I hope he fares better than me ,I decided to drive the Malibu vert yesterday and she pitched a real fit ,backfired ,sounded like a canon going off and blew the mufflers apart .If she wants to act like that she can hibernate in the back corner and I will drive the truck .Which she may just be missing her real owner ,I miss her too.

Re: 68 project
It was good to see you again today Larry, and thanks for the parts for my dad. The truck is looking awesome. Looks even better in person. Grade A work. I'm looking forward to seeing it complete (by June right ).
And Robert, it was nice meeting you as well. And thanks for the lenses! I will try to post up a pic of what my dad makes with the parts once he's done.

Re: 68 project
Did moving it across the shop Saturday morning seeing that fine thing sideways in the doorway at the shop get you fired up and ready to drive it? Ha Ha

Re: 68 project
Ugghh !! Trying to get all the fittings and fuel lines put together seems to be quite the chore for some reason, sometimes I believe we just have to many options in life.
I almost have it though waiting for the last few fittings to come in next week and then onto the motor build and getting it and the 4L80E set back into the chassis.

Re: 68 project
Got up to the shop around 5:30 this morning, was able to finish running the brake lines and most of the wiring is run from the back and also was able to bolt in the e=brake cables. Now that the tips of my fingers are sore I figured it was time to head home.
