Re: The Project Havoc....
I wish there was some kind of updates. But I got nothing. I have been pricing out what it will cost to fix the engine and rebuild the trans. I am looking at around a couple grand. Because the engine was fully balanced I am having trouble just putting one slug into it. So she may get all new slugs. Bearings. Rings. And possibly a mutha thumper cam. I currently have the xe274 in it. And was looking at a Comp Cams Big Mutha Thumpr 295TH7. Anyone have any experience with one of these. Decent?? Loose power?? And then a 3 stall and a built trans. I was gonna do a ls swap with a 6.0 or 5.3 I have. But a wise friend told me just to fix these for now because I do have other plans now for havoc but I have to acquire some funds. With the new house that may take a bit. So we will see. And thanks. The shack is nice and I like the new whip. Lol

Re: The Project Havoc....
Or my other option is a xe284h cam. I like the 274. But it falls on its face at about 5800. I want more. Hehe

Re: The Project Havoc....
So over the last 4 days I went to my friends acreage where Havoc has been for quite some time, snowblowed a path and drug her out of hibernation, she sat resting by her sibling the chevelle shell for a while, brough her home and put her in a permanent home for a while. Today I needed some tome and the kids played in the front yard while i took off the hood and a few other things. Just to start yanking the engine out. I am currently having a ballte with myself right now tho. I want to tear Her don to the skivvies so bad and start fresh, take the next year or two and actually do her how I want to. Finish her correctly. But on the other hand I currently have too many things on the go to actually afford any time to doing her. wants and needs. darn it.

Re: The Project Havoc....
It'd be hard to tear it all down because then you know the chances of driving it are slim for a while. I regret ripping my 40 Ford apart bad now that it isn't freezin and snowing.

Re: The Project Havoc....
I vote to get it running again....and while tour driving the wheels off it collect all the parts you want,so when you tear it apart you have a stack of parts to through at it. i
It sucks waiting for parts to show up.

Re: The Project Havoc....
Ok. Fair enough. She is still sitting. But yesterday I may have gotten something to motivate the movement of her. A Merlin V big block. Buddy of mine gave me the engine. Heads are all redone, ported polished. Springs. Has a voodoo cam in it. I need a intake for it. Probe pistons. Headers. However I have to put a crank in it. Which I have!!! So maybe in a couple months she will be alive!!!!!! So excited.
Just finishing up a Chevelle for a guy. Be done next week. Then I bought a 07 aprilia. Rsv1000. That was laid down. Redoing it right now and I will probably sell it. Even tho I would like to keep it. Plus I have a Harley that has to be painted in the next couple of weeks. Phew!!

Re: The Project Havoc....
A couple shots of the Chevelle and the bike would suffice until you go get the Merlin

Chevelle interior. So far. Doing a interior and stereo system in the car. Well to be truthful it is a Malibu SS.

Current state of repair. I am repairing all the plastics. Repainting everything. General maintence. And cleaning her up nicely.

Re: The Project Havoc....
Hey guys, so no news on the truck, she wil be sitting for a while now, I have other things to get done. Maybe next year I can get to her. there is a plan, and it involves way too much stuff, and a little bit of parting out havoc, so we will see how that goes. as for some pics, here you go: first is the aprilia that I finished, plus another bike i got, a 05 gixxer 750, and finally a few of the 65 chevelle that I just finished the interior on and the stereo.

Re: The Project Havoc....
The 65 chevele SS. guy has not driven it in over 8 years, parked in a shed. had it pinted the dark blue. not my fav, but no my car either. redid the interior 100% stock. Put a large stero system in it that totally runs off of your phone, so you can not see any thing.
