Looks great, what length brake lines did you go with front and rear.

Re: 68 aka "Chained in Porterbuilt Prison"
Brake lines look great. Is your rear wiring for a trailer application? That's what I usually get too.

Re: 68 aka "Chained in Porterbuilt Prison"
Yes and it works great AND I was able to run both it and 2 gauge battery cable down drivers side THRU THE EXTREME C-NOTCH....lot's of work with a helper but it is INSIDE the frame rail completely.....think i will start a thread on what needs to be done before final assembly of notch to make this easier for those who follow!!....pics tomorrow...running another 2 gauge down pass. side straight to starter...dr. side will run rest of truck....Batteries are common grounded to frame and positives will be tied together....second set of leads to go to charging posts at pass. rear taillight (which opens to reveal) to make that chore easier if u ever need a jump.....jim

Jim all the rear portion work is looking really really good. What is the major reason for running dual batteries Jim?

Re: 68 aka "Chained in Porterbuilt Prison"
Just me...they are tied together...the pass. will run straight to starter lug..dr.side runs rest of truck..notice the box at rear of driv. batt...that's the autowire 175 amp mega fuse..made it where it's easy to get to if needed....notice those grommets in end of 1" crossover tubing..they are valvecover pvc grommets....worked perfect for that..........jim

Incredible work as always. I love all the attention to details. I wish I shared you joy for wiring.....
Need to get some mirrors to lay next to the truck, It's a shame to cover up that chassis with body panels. |
