I had a new bumper that came with the truck that was suposed to be a 70 bumper all rechromed but when I pulled it out it turned out to be for some other year. It does not have the light holes but has some funky turned in portions in the top edge about were the head lights are? I will get a pic so I can find out what it is. So I put my old bumper back on and I will ether get a new 67-70 or find some driving lights for this one!

I liked the idea of the driving lights in the bumper and I had thought about

Yeh sorry with the time it takes for me to ship large items and still give you a cheap fare price for the bumper and my time (what their is of it) I am better off giving it away, you know what I meen. It turns out that a curent customer build that I am doing "Project Trazer" is going to be a GMC (Trimmy) and not a Chevy like I had assumed it was. I will be donating the bumper to that project. I have been slacking on this project so I hope this will keep me in his good graces

Forget that they tape in TN! No offense to any TN's but I like California plus it is a behind the sceen job and I already have one of those, I'm married

Well no real progress, the weather has been crappy and I am waiting on a few parts but I did get my Valve cover emblems ($35) thingy's. Like I said not much but they are still pics right!

So Kevin. What's going on? Here it's been 5 days since last pics of the truck not counting the little shot of the engine covers. Did ya get the glass in yet? What's next? Comeonnnnnnnn man! We're hurting!

Nice paint on the engine covers... Now the rest of the engine looks like it could use a good cleaning up.

Great awesome work so far.. Now come to TX and fix my truck.. You can have an all access pass to the fridge and TV if it helps.

No the glass is not in yet. We have had alot of rain and my wife has been working late and I need her car to tow it to the glass shop. I worked on cleaning the yard up a bit this weekend between rain storms so not the bed is in the shop and ready for work. I think glass will be done in the next two weeks.

Thanks for the offer but I have two packed fridges here, a 50" plasma on the wall and as of two nights ago a 24" flat screen for the computer so I think I will stay here for now!

Here are a few pics of the clean up act. Oh my gosh a ford! YA YA I know but this one has been hiding in a barn since 1960 and just came out last year. It is an original 47K miles or so and a factory flat head V8. It is going to be a bad @ss project once my blazer is done.

It might really get done! I ended up getting Friday and Monday off and my wife and son are out of town untill Sunday so it is b@lls to the wall on the truck bed. Before lunch I did the handle flip on the tailgate and I will do a full write up in the next day or on it with 42 step by step pics. It went well but their were a few things that needed to be fixed with my kit.
Here are a few teaser shots for now

It took me 3 1/2hrs and $85 for the kit to do this from start to finish even with the mods and redo's that came along.

Metal work is almost done and I am about to start the skim cote tonight. Block and prime Saturday, Block and prime and block Sunday. Paint Monday! Rest when dead

Done for the night! I finished up all the metal work on the bed and gate and plopped on a skim cote before heading in for the night. I welded up all the trim holes on the side of the bed and also the lower holes on the gate. I am leaving the top holes on the gate right above the old handle and the trim holes along side the tail lights. I will drill the new holes in the bed sides after it is mounted back on the truck to help with alignment. For the trim on top of the gate I will be using the lower trim from this gate since it does not have the handle nitch. I also set the new side marker buckets into the bed sides and modified the tail light mounts for a flush fit as well.
