Right by where the antenna goes in the cowl there is a small hole like 3/8 just below the windsheild in the cab.

Drill in the closest spot on the cab where the antenna wire is, you will be very close!

Cool. That gives me a little something to try. Thanks for the compliments!

LH Hood Hinge 3911705 $66.64
RH Hood Hinge 3911706 $45.46
I have heard they suck too. The hinges are tight and seem to be in perfect shape, guess I'll test them by taking the springs out.

Meeee too! Thanks eagleuh1, guess you are talkin about the 55 Bel Air emblems on the side! When people see it they don't even realize it's not factory badging..............I love that.

Still got em! They are in the storage shed behind the shop and are awaiting new tires. I have plenty of other things to spend my money on for now so the tires are kinda on the backburner. Radiator and hoses, brake booster and lines, and front crossdrilled rotors are on the menu for now.

hey david, figure i would drop by. i checked out your truck and "that other car" the day i went by the shop lol

both are very clean man, the paint on both of them looks flawless. i was asking your friend ronnie about the a/c setup and he said you might go with vintage. did you already get the stock setup or is it just going to be easier to go with vintage?

It's gonna be a while before that stuff happens, having to slow my roll on the project to save some $$$. It will crank back up when the funds are right!

Thanks Kevin! Glad you got to see them! It was an A/C truck so I have all the stuff that came off of it, but Vintage Air is probably what I will go back with. The expense and the reliability are what made up my mind. To revive the old system would actually cost more in the long run. I'll get those parts powdercoated Thursday maybe Friday so you can scoop em up this weekend.

Ducting under the dash and getting the seats bolted down for a test fit with the carpet in. I suppose I could wire everything under the hood so I could get my radio workin. You are more than welcome to come by and help!

We cleaned a little, but still have a mess to the side. Cody wants to keep it as stock as possible which is cool cause it is a Highlander truck. Come out before you get it running too. It's every Saturday and it's close to the shop.
