Got the new tank rigged up yet? Or are you too busy enjoying the properly working A/C system, hehe. Sure was nice today here, good little storm rolled through and kept the temps under 90, was an excellent change!

Re: My Crew Cab Short Bed Project, AKA "Project Destiny"

I haven't done anything with the tank, except I sealed it up for storage.
I plan on putting it in when I pull the bed to do the rear notches.

I thought you were going with a monster notch and cut out the bed so you could lay it out on bags. Looks good

So you go the tank in? Everything works? Where'd you put the gas filler?

Re: My Crew Cab Short Bed Project, AKA "Project Destiny"

The tank is just mounted. The lines and filler are just plugged for now. It will probably be next weekend before I hook it up. I'm planning on hiding the fill though....just gotta work it out first.

Re: My Crew Cab Short Bed Project, AKA "Project Destiny"

Yeah, that might be a good plan....

A shop somewhere between our houses would be nice, huh?

I forgot to share something else with this thread's followers....as most of you know I have been looking for some 7" rallies. I found a pair finally, but as I was leaving Scott's last night I just happened to notice that he has a whole set of them. they have been under our noses all along...

Re: My Crew Cab Short Bed Project, AKA "Project Destiny"

Randy,
I dunno. Your guy with the 7's not coming through fir you? I already claimed 2 of Scott's wheels though .

Mike,
yeah, we figured we had about 8 hours of work with it said and done. About half of that was grinding on the rear end

Plasma is sweet, but we would have practically killed fir a regular torch. It would have saved a ton of grinding.
