Yeah the Porsche. I've gone as far as I can on it - now it's time to spend $$ and buy stuff to bolt onto it.

Re: Halfbreed - GMC Z71 + IH Extd Cab
Just saw you sold it in your other thread. Sad to see it go.
Is the new owner a member here?

Re: Halfbreed - GMC Z71 + IH Extd Cab
I don't think the new owner is on this forum. He lives in Tucson, AZ and has been updating me by TXT's on my phone. I think his plan is to drive it for awhile and then start doing more improvements to it. If I get any news worth sharing about it I will.

Re: Halfbreed - GMC Z71 + IH Extd Cab
Cool.
I sold a pop up camper that had heavy roof damage (top was starting to delaminate already, then it got nailed with a 20 minute quarter sized hail storm) to a local guy from my vintage mustang forum. He's sent me some updates on the top repair, pretty cool. This was definitely one of my favorite "alternate tinkerings" builds, it almost feels like we all fumbled through it together

Re: Halfbreed - GMC Z71 + IH Extd Cab
Sparky, whata build man. I found this after reading through your Porsche build on alternate tinkerings. I can hardly believe the amount of work that you put into this rig, and that you were able to get it solid and comfortable enough to travel in and use for a daily driver. Was really fun to watch and thank you for showing us the stuff that you learned along the way. I look forward to continuing to watch with your Porsche build.

Re: Halfbreed - GMC Z71 + IH Extd Cab
I had a reason to text the buyer of Halfbreed. He says he’s using it as his daily driver. He still plans to put a new motor in it and to do a bunch more body work to it. It was nice to learn that Halfbreed is alive and doing well in Tucson.
