QUOTE=GMBowtie79;2790934]Lower, lower Go down another 1"-2". Thats just my $.02.[/QUOTE]
I would love to, but my ground clearance is an issue. It needs 6" to be able to be shipped. Once I get it, I might. Quote:
My truck should be getting shipped within the next few weeks, so by the time it gets here it will be toward the end of August, early September. It should of already been here, but there have been a few problems getting the truck to the shipping yard. When it gets here, I will get in touch and we'll go cruise or something. Know anyone else with these trucks that might wanna go with us?

No, the truck is not here yet. It is still back home in oklahoma. I went to order the parts and the company would not ship to my APO box, so the only way for me to get them would be to give them my German address, which would cost me an extra $300-$400, so a buddy put it all together for me. My truck should be getting shipped within the next few weeks, so by the time it gets here it will be toward the end of August, early September. (www.cooleparts.com) And there´s a boardmember from Krefeld with a long stepper thats los-lowrider and another member in southgermany with a great 68 C10 thats blukangoo (www.v8brothers.de) and another member is rob73-87!I think it would be great to make a german boardmeet! I hope i´ll get mine thru TÜV and the LPG system soon, that i can cruise it!

Re: How about some pictures of '73-'87 short beds
I put the Coys that I bought for my 68 on for the weekend & took it up to Kellers the local burger/cruise joint. I figured a few pics w/the new shoes were good for sharing . . .....

Re: How about some pictures of '73-'87 short beds
I agree, that one sits about perfect. I like how the space between the rim and fender is the same front to back.

Re: How about some pictures of '73-'87 short beds
Quote:
The rear has the HD spring option (8-leaf spring pack) w/a Western Chassis flip kit (for 6" drop) plus Bell Tech drop shackles. I've added Western Chassis c-sections w/home-made air-over-leaf brackets & a couple of small dbl convoluted bags for leveling the truck when I want to still use it as a truck. In the pics, front wheel/tire combo is 20x8.5 w/5.25"BS & 255-40/20's. The rear is 20x10 w/5.50"BS & 295-40/20's. It looks sweet but the drop combined w/the tall front tires did not work well. I can't get my knuckles in between the top of the tires & the wheel well & it was very apparent on the short drive I took it on this weekend. I swapped my ralleys back on for now.
