Re: Brave or crazy? crewcab build

I went with 2 standard bench seats the front seat is all the back and there is still plenty of leg room in the rear.
Also went with 72 door panels it was I pain to find the rear ones. also modified the 4th door one for door handle.
I was surprised with how much room there is behind rear seat.

all but windshield and the small glass for the rear doors witch would need to be custom cut.

Re: Brave or crazy? crewcab build

James,

Best of luck with the sale. Some one is going to get a very nice truck that has all the hard work done. If it helps this was my idea of what I would want the truck to look like

I just read through every single page and all I can say is incredible job!! Just seeing all this makes me want to go and buy a welder and start repairing all the problems my 69s got in the body. Your quality of work is amazing! Can't wait to see the final results!

Welcome TWEMyrick!

I'll certainly keep following. I would love to have it, but that wasn't in the cards . What are your plans?

Plans for now are LS3, 4l80e tranny, DSE subframe, billet coil overs, mini tub rear with 4 link, 6 piston wilwoods, kindigit door handles, billet hood hinges, billet specialties wheels, abs electric brake set up, not sure on paint or interior color. Liking a two tone paint scheme. I would really like suggestions on colors.

Thanks for following and it should turn out pretty amazing

Sounds like a fantastic plan. As far as paint, I think SeTx67's rendering is pretty sexy...

I agree the rendering is sweet, I love red too though. Maybe replace the black with red and a red interior!

Score on the truck. As to color suggestions, let me throw one suggestion your way. Tan bottom with white top. Does not show the dust from our area at all. I have a black Chevelle and it is impossible to keep clean, shows every spec of dust. My Homer 68 build is just the opposite. Take a look.

Well the truck I really like has that same color combo or I would be doing that. I love the tan and white!! I'll post a pic, I'm sure everybody has seen it before.

Re: Brave or crazy? crewcab build

Red/White would be bada$$. And the DSE stuff is fantastic...I have most of their stuff on my '77 Trans Am. I didn't know they did a kmember for these trucks.
