Re: She's a ton of fun (dually build on air)
Rus I finally made it home from Afghanistan and have been waiting to see the progress made on the truck. Have you had your wheels machined down yet. Also I was wondering where you found the spindles your running. If I remember correctly you where gonna run a C30 3" drop spindle

Re: She's a ton of fun (dually build on air)
I haven't done anything about the wheels yet but I do plan to run a c-30 drop spindle. I will prob run 73-87 drop spindles, ball joints and brakes.

Well guys... I finally finished stripping down the old frame. Then Mario another board member drove all the way down here from Canada in his awesome patina'd suburban! Thanks Mario I hope you make good use of the frame!

Re: She's a ton of fun (dually build on air)
Did you get any of it aired out ? I never took any myself.
We made it all the way back to Ontario without a problem. I am going to have to get a build thread started for this chassis. I wish we could have stayed longer that trip was to short.

Re: She's a ton of fun (dually build on air)
And I thought you guys coming up to Indiana for a frame was a long road trip. Always great to see parts get a good home and helping someone with their project.

Re: She's a ton of fun (dually build on air)
Lol yeah that was a long drive, I couldn't imagine driving the 12+ hours one way that Mario and his family made. But they made a long weekend out of it and it was Mario's son's birthday. So they celebrated and went to some caves and things.

Hey Rus, they also did not have to strap anything to the roof. That is still a great story. Have a great weekend!
