What did you do to your truck today?
Whats up guys? So I did a search on this forum board and didn't see anything like this. But anyways I'm part of a forum board that is based out of Southern Oregon/ Northern California and they have a thread in there that is titled what did you do to your car today. It is pretty cool so I figued it would be cool to start one here. It can be as minor as an oil change or a wash job or as major as a cab swap and anything in between, its just cool to see what others do on thier trucks on a daily basis. Let me know what you guys think!
Cheers.

Re: What did you do to your truck today?
I drove mine out into the driveway so I could get to the Halloween boxes on a low shelf behind it. Then I backed it back in. After that I cleaned up the oil stain I left in the driveway.
More planned for tomorrow.

I looked at mine today and thought that I'll try to get that driver side cab corner on this week.

Re: What did you do to your truck today?
I worked on a customer's big window cab, put a pair of radiator extensions on a '64 GMC, cleaned up a pair of passenger side front fenders and shipped 12 packages of various '60-'66 Chevy/GMC parts.
I will be working on the '65 Chevy big window cab tomorrow and shipping some more parts. Thanks for starting this thread. |

First I walked around it, then stared at it then went back in the house to list stuff for sale so I can afford to finish it. Then gathered up some pieces that need to be painted black. Also working on a wish list for Moultrie GA swap meet Nov 20-22.

Re: What did you do to your truck today?
I got my rear leaf springs re-arched and back from Pohl spring works today, put them on now it sits level again. The fella from Pohl said there was an extra leaf in one side, must have been a PO fix it was 2 1/4" higher on one side??? Life is good again.---Vernski

Re: What did you do to your truck today?
Just picked up a 62 C10 for my son a few weeks ago. Opened up the 12 bolt rear today to find fresh Yukon gears, axles etc. Some new lube and it's ready to roll.

I took it for a ride to get the tank empty for a sending unit swapout. I could have siphoned the gas but thats no fun.
