Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds

High riding 67 at $7000 it looks pretty good. Much too much lift to be my truck.

https://yakima.craigslist.org/for/d/...107419351.html

1967 4x4 Chevy pickup. Has a 454 engine with sm465 4 speed and np205 transfer case. Sitting on 3/4 ton axles with 37” humvee wheels and tires with bead locks. Has about a 10” lift. Runs, drives and stops. Needs some work but it’s a good solid old truck. $7,000

Custom camper, looks like minimal rust and nice patina but no interior/motor pictures.

That's the saddest looking 67 I've ever seen.

I'm not a taller is better fan. Lower that to a decent ride height, swap those hideous wheels, and you got yourself a pretty darn nice truck. Well, my guess is I'd find a dozen other things to repair or tweak as well.

Re: Post Your Craigslist Finds

Looks like someone did their home work to install this clock, if it's factory I've never seen or heard of one.

agree, that's a neat upgrade. That's a squarebody clock, believe there are a few threads on here about the conversion.

I believe member 70shortfleet (Les) has done some of these conversions and has a thread in the parts for sale board offering to punch the dash tins for clocks and tachs.

Here are pics of 2 I've done. Unfortunately, I didn't take pictures of the process I used.

Missing AC and heater parts, but that price makes for a lot of forgiveness.

I agree. There are a lot of $10K trucks running around missing those same parts. I think the overall condition of the body makes it worth the asking price. It's got some dents, but, nowadays, you just don't see much anymore that isn't rotted out for under $3K.
