What type of AN hoses did you run with the tranny cooler? Build is looking good.

Re: My 86 build

more wiring!....got the tranny cooler wired up with the t-start and relay, fuel pump wired up and working, oil pressure sending unit wired up...I still have a few more things to wire up like the brake switch and neutral safety switch, also the radiator fans as soon as I get the front ned back on...hopefully the tranny fittings will show this week so I can finnish the cooler lines and add some fluid...I had the motor cranking over and getting very excited to hear this thing run....

Re: My 86 build

the tranny fittings came in the mail today!!...also had a "snow day" so I took advantage of it and got the cooler lines done and hooked up, and filled the tranny with fluid......

Re: My 86 build

here's a pic just after I shut it off!....yeah it runs!!...so effin excited!.....I just primed the pump and was checking for leaks, and hit the key just to "see", and it fired right up and idled away....still need to get a MAF, and I'm waiting on the water pump...but I'll get the front end back on, and drop the rad in, and wire the fans up, and hopefully run it some more to get the bugs out....

Re: My 86 build

I saw this pic at the beginning of your thread, I have rear slider window but missing the middle aluminum pieces. Would you mind selling the aluminum pieces that is shown in the pic?

I will be happy if so.

Thank you,
Nasser

Re: My 86 build

I got a chance today to work on the truck, so I managed to get the u-joint installed in the drive shaft, and tried the driveshaft in the truck for a test fit..I thought I was going to have to cut it from what I've heard about the 4l80e being longer that the 700r4, but the driveshaft fit as perfectly as it did before!....

not that I know of....I haven't laid it out with it in on, but everything should be good, only the mufflers look like they're lower than the frame, but thats where the frame "kicks up"....
