Yes, we sure do !! I have had two square body trucks I wish I hadn't sold.
Are you planning to buy a blazer already slammed or do it yourself? I just happen to have one on the ground.

I'm a recovering Blazer guy (as much as you can), and I needed a truck to use around the house. I will have another 73-75 someday, though.

Re: Finally "Silvers" build thread!! ('78 swb 2wd silverado)
i have a small update... i was waiting for a special someone to post progress of the 3 piece frc's that he's smoothing and painting but as you can see(or cant see!) i think his camera's broke... anyways on to it!!
i got the nitro2 drop shocks for the front installed and a buddy brought over 6' of steel braided 3/8" f/i hose. i'm going to run the s/b line from the filter to the fuel rail because it crosses by the exhaust. i'm still waiting for the twist-tite 3/8 line from summit and back ordered quick connect for the f/r. should be here today. i have all the f/i clamps and everything i need to finish the fuel system. i also sent out an email for the trans xmember link on ebay to see what they can do. might have to wait for that before i mount the filter/reg. the plan for today is a little firewall work and maybe get the floor pan piece cut and welded on to a few pics!...

Re: Finally "Silvers" build thread!! ('78 swb 2wd silverado)
You might already know this, but I think you will need standard AN fittings to use with the S/B hose. I don't know how well the Twist Tite fittings will work with the S/B stuff. A quick call to Summit will probably confirm it real fast.
Since our special friend hasn't put up a pic, I will. These are leaving today.

Very nice! How long are those shocks?
That guy with your FRCs was gonna make some more progress yesterday but had to spend his whole day off at work selling a Denali XL to a 79 year old lady who still rides a Harley and carries a 357. He will get some progress posted soon enough.

Re: Finally "Silvers" build thread!! ('78 swb 2wd silverado)
Bob, i got the reg. AN fitting that connects to the line you flared. its the summit brand fitting that you posted part# to in your thread. i hope the twist tite hose works with the clamps. i planned to use the tt hose on everything from the pumps to the filter/reg. then steel braided with the reg an fitting(i think) to the f/rail... make sense? i just hope the summit an fitting is the right one!

Re: Finally "Silvers" build thread!! ('78 swb 2wd silverado)
i'm going to have someone paint it and do the body work so i can sit the cab on the chassis... the undercoating i want is the real deal. no diy stuff that will be chipping off. line-x is a high pressure system. thats what i want. Gerald could probably explain it better.

Re: Finally "Silvers" build thread!! ('78 swb 2wd silverado)
He is gonna do a bedliner material instead of true undercoating. It holds up very well, and is real good looking when done right. Ya, it is a little more money than just throwing undercoating on but it is well worth it. The bedliner will give better protection and more sound deadening.

Re: Finally "Silvers" build thread!! ('78 swb 2wd silverado)
Think of what a bedliner is designed to hold up to. Being in the elements everyday, having things thrown at it like shovels, rocks, concrete, etc. It holds up very well on the bottom of a vehicle.
The advantage of a high-pressure sprayed liner vs a low pressure system is the durability. I learned alot about bedliners from a guy who had his own bedliner business and sprayed for the body shop I worked in for a bit. If you take a razor blade and cut into a low pressure type it will open up like a flesh wound and will continue to expand over time. The high pressure will just look kind of like a scratch in clear coat and will stay as is. Therefore the high pressure system will hold up longer. Examples of each: high would be like LineX; low would be like Reflex. Those are simply examples.
