I apologize for being slow in my updates. I've actually got some stuff accomplished......

Thanks, it's quite heavy. I'm going to have to come up with some strong automotive adhesive to attach it.

Thanks Nate. This piece and the side trim will probably be the last thing I put on.

Thanks. I was shooting for the Power Tour, but I've been busy job hunting so I may have to drive the 68 on the Tour and take the Burb to CTC.

OK, for the updates.

1. Fuel filler and vent connected.
2. New brakes installed (still need to connect the front brake lines)
3. All air ride installed including the level sensors (minor wiring left)*
4. Power steering lines connected.

* The only way I can describe the AccuAir system is..... FREAKIN AWESOME! There may be equivalent systems out there, but I doubt you will find any that are better.

What's next?

1. Wire the motor
2. Wire everything else
3. Mount radiator and fans
4. Mount a/c condensor and run lines
5. Mount supercharger intercooler
6. Glass ordered and should be installed next week.
7. Install gauges
8. Install tilt column
9. Make brackets for rear buckets (and then have them reupholstered)
10...................

Enough of that. Here are some pictures, .

Looks great Rob!!!....Not sure if you said this earlier but was there any reason why you chose to put a 5.3L engine in?? I keep telling my Dad that I want to do a burb with a 5.3L, but he keeps saying that I should go with a 6.0L because the burbs are heavier?!?!

Geoff, at the time I bought the motor the 5.3's were about $1000 cheaper than the 6.0s. I've made up for the HP difference with the supercharger, . Plus, my wife's 03 Suburban has a 5.3 and and weighs about 1500 pounds more. I have been very impressed with the way it performs.

I forgot to add that they MPG on the 6.0's (12-14) are really low as compared to the 5.3's (17-20). At least that's what I have been told. Either way you go, they both are great motors that are far superior to the older stuff (JMHO, ).

Great progress! I like the machined tailgate trim piece. That looks really good! Maybe you already said, but are you polishing, anodizing, or painting it? Either way it looks really cool! I assume it cost some bucks to fab that puppy. I know how expensive it is to manufacture in America.

Rob - way too many details to take in all at once.

I went back and reviewed the whole thread yesterday and didn't get a chance to post before I had to get back to work.

Fantastic job on this project!

Thanks! You're almost there and I'm looking forward to seeing it in person, .

I ordered my Entropy radiator setup today and my Speartech harness. The motor and tranny should be making some serious progress in the next couple of weeks.....
