Re: Crash's 69 K10
Mike, I know you work at a machine shop but seriously, that doesn't look like anything you'd get out of a machine shop in Oklahoma. I've seen some other parts that you've done and your stuff looks incredible. You should start a "truck jewelry" business!! Congrats Mark on the one off piece by mcbassin. Hopefully this will be on display at the okie meet in June.

Re: Crash's 69 K10
Yes he can Steve.. It is amazing how many talented people we have in this area. Just think if people like Mike, Kyle, and others around here ever got together on a build how sweet that would be..

Re: Crash's 69 K10
Installed the boot and new boot retainer for the TC shifter.
Did a little work on the AC lines.. Can’t really do any more until I get the inner fenders installed. After that I took pictures for the insurance company. Going to go ahead and get it insured even though I am a ways from having it on the road. I have too much invested not too. My wife and I attempted to set some of the gaps and get the front sheet metal bolted up, but it did not work out to well.. Nothing damaged, but let’s just say she wasn’t too happy about helping.. So this is where I am at.. I am going to wait on the paint and body guy to get a free day to come help with the gaps.. Could be awhile, but it will be worth it. Also, I am afraid I have been scammed on my glass deal.. I ordered glass from a vendor on this board back in November and have had nothing but excuses ever since. I asked for a refund this past Wednesday and was told no problem. I have not seen my money yet even though I called Thursday and Friday and was assured it was a done deal. I will not mention the vendor at this time. However, if I do not have the glass or my money by Monday at 5:00pm I will post the whole story, timeline, and vendor at that time. I have found another source for the glass; just need my money back to proceed.

What glass do you need? I'll donate to the cause if I have what you need.

Re: Crash's 69 K10
There's a bad deals forum for this type of thing. Start a thread there and just give the details and someone from the board will contact them.
The interior is looking great! Posted via Mobile Device

Very nice! Good idea on the insurance, I had mine insured before it got back from paint shop. Never know what can happen when youre transporting on a car hauler.

Re: Crash's 69 K10
Hey Mark, i'm curious how happy you are with the air volume at the vents from the dash? I got my vintage air gen IV installed and i'm not thrilled with the amount of air at the vents? Maybe I need to keep trying to calibrate the switches to see if there is any more speed?
