Re: Die-cast 67-72

For you guys that are interested in painting models an original color, I have a sample I'd sell. I was looking for paint for my truck and had two samples mixed up. One I like, the other isn't what I thought it would be, but it is an original color for a 1972 truck, GMC only. It's called Terrace blue on the autocolorlibrary.com site and looks like a slightly darker version of medium green. It's a half pint mix and cost me $10.50, but I'd I'd make a deal for someone interested in putting it to use. Just PM me.

Wow Robert,a 1/2 flamed one.

So Frechblue72,the first one is the 1/25 version you modified? And,what is the second one?Looks like a 69/70 grille...I think.Same scale?Looks like you need to back off a bit.I was told to back off, then move in really slow to let the camera pick up on the closer object,or something like that.

Frenchblue: Most cameras have a minimum focusing distance. Either that or your camera's focus mode is not on center focus mode. Just thought i would chime it...

Got my latest shipment of toys today.

The 2 John Deer Blazers (one came with the tractor). Sorry for the other one, but I liked it. The JD old F100 looked like my very first truck, so I had to have it too.

They wanted $12.++ to ship two of those to me.
Maybe they'll show up at the Tractor Supply store.

After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Re: Die-cast 67-72

special-K,
It's summer time down here in the south. I don't spend much time inside. I've been at the beach house a lot. I started a new position here at work so I may have more time to type. Ha!!!!!
Been working on golfcarts all summer. Fix to start the air bags on the truck maybe next week.

That sound great.Your job can fit your lifestyle better.

Man...I just missed this one.It only had one bid at the starting price of $9.99.I bid on it the morning of the day the auction ended while I was at work.I bid $45.00 max. since shipping was $5.00.When I got home I checked and the same bidder added a buck to my bid and won.At least I made sure he didn`t get it for a measley 10 bucks :
