Re: No Limit's "K-10"
Since Columbus, we had some time lost in getting the truck back home, so not much happening. In the last few weeks we went out testing at AMP, our locak playground, and made some imrovements. We had gone to a softer rear sway bar back east to try to get it bite more in a corner, all the while not knowing that the "gold drive" posi unit was too tight. OK, WAY too tight. That makes it get loose easy. Now that we have the posi set up correctly, it's a lot better. We went out to AMP last saturday for the So Cal Challenge, and did great, we ran a 44.76. Thats our fastest lap yet, thats the good news. To get that we had the rear shocks as tight as possible. - that tells me I need a stiffer rear bar. Hmmm.

Re: No Limit's "K-10"
Good to hear you found the trouble spot with the posi being too tight and are getting quicker. Sounds like your original rear bar was the right choice to start with and the posi was making things unpredictabe. I hadn't thought about the handling impacts of too much clutch pack preload.

Re: No Limit's "K-10"
Thanks again guys. Here's an update. Last weekend we went to the "Return to the Coast" event in El Toro, Ca. This is one of the Amersican Street Car Series events with an autocross, speed-stop, and a road coarse. We put up a good fight, and finished second in the overall. The battle came down to us and HellBoy vs. Karl Dunn (and Casey and C.G.) and the Blu-Balz Camaro. We set the top number in autocross early sunday with a 49.552, that held all day, until Karl ran a 49.522 on his last run to take the top spot. We were the only two to run in the 49's. On the Road Coarse, I put down a blistering (and a bit scary) 1.43.989 lap on the 1.8 mile track, securing the win on the road coarse. Karl ran a strong 1.44.990 for second place. Karl had run a 1.45.873 in his 2010 Parnelli Jones Mustang (3rd place), and the rest of the pack was behind the 1.47 mark or slower. That put us even for the overall. We proved no match for the monster brakes and horsepower from Blu-Balz in the speed stop as Karl ran a 23.682 (3rd) to our 24.018 (5th) - the supercharged late models with traction control and ABS are tough to beat here. Not to shabby for a pick-up. I'll get some picts and video up this week.
---- still no Optima invite.

Re: No Limit's "K-10"
OK. Now, this is my first attempt at editing, so don't be too harsh. (I may have a sensative moment) ASCS 'Return to the Coast' in El Toro, Ca. So, trucks aren't supposed to handle, and Nena isn't really rock, but givin the huge orange balloon flying above, dressed as the great pumpkin, I couldn't pass it up. Enjoy. http://youtu.be/pVDd6aHYC5k
