Nice, what is the backspacing on the rear 20x10's. What size tire are you running in the rear?

Try this.

Their site won't let me "grab" the pictures. But, for a full chrome grille, it's definitely worth looking at.

The 68 uses part of the fender as the grill(as does the 67). That part might be hard to chrome plate, you might be able to dip the fender partially and then grind off what you don't want. Then put the chrome moulding on.

Have you checked out the outfit in Florida that does "chrome" wraps for entire cars (usually high end sports cars and concept cars)? You could get a piece of that material, work it into the areas you want chrome, and install your trim over it to hide the edges. Trimming the parting line would allow the fenders and center to move as they need to.

Alternatively, you could take a piece of aluminum and bang out a cover that, again, the trim could hide the edges of. Send that cover out to get chromed.

Re: How about some pics of 67-72 Part II

That's a heck of a birthday gift and welcome to the site! oh and Happy Birthday! I can't say I've ever seen one with the entire front chrome, I prefer just the trim, but to each his own. You could try chrome spray paint, but I'm not sure how good that would turn out. Good luck with it!

Here is a 69 that I've had for 25 years. In 1987, I pieced this truck together from many different trucks.

Here are some pics from 1989. It started out as a 70 CST, but I made it look like a 72 Cheyenne. I sold it in the early 90's.
