this thread needs to get back on track,NOW first of all as per site rules III. No pissing matches. Its fine to disagree, but once a thread has run its course, and degenerated into little more than an insult fest, it will be locked. Damn, sad to see this go but you gotta do what you gotta do! And at least it went to a fellow member! This build and menace's are the whole reason I decided on a frame off and 6.0, so hopefully he keeps it updated and you're still around to answer some questions

I've been covered up with work and the holiday. I got a little time last night, so I pulled off all the accessories, and the radiator out. If time permits tonight I'm going to go ahead and slide the new cam in it. I ordered a small 224 228 .590 for it. I'm still debating whether to port a set of heads for it, or just leave the heads alone for now. I think it would be just as easy to change heads as it would to change valve springs on the motor.
I still have to order a stall converter for it and figure out what I'm going to do for electric fans. It's winter time though so I've got several months to get it all worked out. |
