GENTLEMEN
this thread needs to get back on track,NOW
first of all as per site rules
III. No pissing matches. Its fine to disagree, but once a thread has run its course, and degenerated into little more than an insult fest, it will be locked. While this will require a judgment call by the Administrators & Moderators. The members of this site can keep our moderating to a minimum by exercising a little discretion and self- control. Excessive profanity will lead to a 24 hour suspension at the Administrations discretion.
and
IV. Pure trolling, either to upset someone or simply for your personal
enjoyment, is strictly prohibited. If you're here to cause trouble, it will be a very short stay. Immediate BAN and you will be reported to your ISP.
and
XII. It is against our policy for someone to post a complaint about a members price on whatever they are selling. If you don't like the price then skip it. Let it drop to the bottom on its own. They (potential buyers) will figure it out, why nobody is jumping on that particular item.
that being said I dont want to have to visit this again

Re: The 6.0 Silverado Build

Damn, sad to see this go but you gotta do what you gotta do! And at least it went to a fellow member! This build and menace's are the whole reason I decided on a frame off and 6.0, so hopefully he keeps it updated and you're still around to answer some questions best of luck to both of you!

Re: The 6.0 Silverado Build

Gotta admit, when I saw it removed from the for sale section I was hoping for a "ok im keeping it" post in the thread. That said glad it's going to a good home and look forward to seeing your next project.

Well, since we got that out of the way, we expect at least daily updates, Matchstick. Gotta get that post count up somehow! Oh, and lots of pics, too.

Re: The 6.0 Silverado Build

I've been covered up with work and the holiday. I got a little time last night, so I pulled off all the accessories, and the radiator out. If time permits tonight I'm going to go ahead and slide the new cam in it. I ordered a small 224 228 .590 for it. I'm still debating whether to port a set of heads for it, or just leave the heads alone for now. I think it would be just as easy to change heads as it would to change valve springs on the motor.
I still have to order a stall converter for it and figure out what I'm going to do for electric fans. It's winter time though so I've got several months to get it all worked out.
