Re: Patina, shop logo'd, rusty trucks?
Maybe try paint thinner. It should take off the spray can OD green and leave the original paint intact.

Heres mine. Wish it had real patina and not four layers of paint, but it is MY shorty fleet and nobody elses. I LOVE IT!!

Found a write up on it. I like their theme, but does it have to be called a rat rod? Ugh. Kids, flat black taurus' with red rims does not a rat rod make! |

Re: Patina, shop logo'd, rusty trucks?
Heres my new "patina" rust truck. Plans are to get it running, lower it and drive it. Last shot is a "photoshop" of the lowered ride height. The steelies stay, so does the straight 6 if its salvagable. As long as "real" patina is in, I may as well make the best of it.

Here is my truck that I bought last week, 68 C20. Its not as patina as some of the trucks I've seen in this thread, but its still patina:

Re: Patina, shop logo'd, rusty trucks?
It's so cool seeing so many trucks that were not to long ago considered, let's say, "not desirable" become actually sought after runners once again.
