Hey Raull,... the "bag full",... but still dumped, means less volume of air to raise the truck.
(why go from 0-50 psi to raise the rear of your truck,... when you can go from 25-50 psi?)
Less run time on the compressor.
The bed floor is your limiting factor unless you cut it.
You also have a hat on top of the rear bag,... which I don't on my blazer.
(mine are bolted directly to the frame)
Like I said,... I like a low ride height.
I have a bumpstop in my notch to keep the rearend center section off the bed floor.
Which bums me out.
I'm still thinking about making a small hole in my bed floor so I can use all of the notch.

Re: Al's 71C10 Rebuild

Al on my 72 my rear hit the bed without the blocks but I also had my rear bags bolted on without plates. I agree with lolife99, I would keep the 2" blocks so the bags are more full when you air it out.

Re: Al's 71C10 Rebuild

This is the backspacing I like up front.
This is n2billet's '68,... aka Lucy.
These are 20x8.5 Billet Specialties softlip Vintec's with 5.75" BS.
This (in my opinion) the perfect front bs for a mild non-Dropmembered bagged truck.
Just plates and cups.

Nate's truck (72BlckButy's) has a 20x8.5 with a 5.5" BS.
Perfect for a static dropped truck.

Both of these trucks have different rear backspace numbers.
Both have the narrower 67-69 rearend.
But n2billet's truck has had the outer wheelhouse of the bed modified for the least amount of backspacing.

Al's truck has the wider 71-72 housing.
(1.5" wider on the total width dimension)
I would run a 20x10 with a 5.5" BS on a "mild" bagged truck with a 71-72 rearend.
(and a 20x10 with a 5" BS on a "mild" bagged truck with the early narrower 67-69 rearend)

These are my numbers,... that I like.
I still tell everyone to measure their own truck, to make sure.
Just remember that a 20x10 will actually measure 11" wide.
(20x8.5 will measure 9.5" wide)

Re: Al's 71C10 Rebuild

We put about an hour and a half last night. We reinstalled the two inch blocks, rear panhard bar, installed the new brakes hoses with brake lines on all four corners, installed the new front sway bar from (Ride tech). We are getting ready to install the compressor, air tank and do the electrical connections with the E3 leveling sensors in the next few days. We are taking our time and working on the truck bits at a times since we have no wheels anyways.
