I wish, the drop spindles weren't available at their ebay store so I called up Jeff at CPP and ordered it.

You can pay extra to expidite shipping but it's still not very fast

Hey all;

I wish I had something to report, I am waiting on CPP to ship my parts.

Some of the things that need to be done to the new frame before I can even start the frame and cab swap are.

Remove the factory trailing arm cross member and replace it with the CPP version.

Install the C-Notches.

Remove the rear upper factory shock bracket and Install the rear upper shock relocation bracket.

Remove the lower factory rivets in the front cross member so the sway bar can be installed.

I thought I was done with this stuff, but no I just had to go lower, you guys know how that goes. /facepalm

Waiting on parts can be a pita. Hopefully your rivets go better than mine did . Once I put the truck on a lift they weren't bad. Should be easy no no sheet metal though

Hey all:

The CPP front sway bar lowering brackets were delivered today.
It has been raining non-stop for days and according to the weatherman there is more where that came from until Sunday so this weekend is shot.
Hopefully next week the weather will be nicer and I can get some work done.

I thought they were zinc coated so I was pleasantly surprised to find that these are powder coated.

Hey all;

I wish I had something to report but it just won't stop raining and if I'm honest it's getting to the point that it's ridiculous because we are over average rainfall and it needs to stop.

I need to figure out some other arrangement for my pickup because working outside just isn't reasonable because too many weather conditions can keep me from working on it considering I'm in NE Kansas where it seems like we only have three weather conditions, freezing cold, rain and hotter than hell.

I'm getting tired of not being able to work on my truck when I wan't to and quite honestly it is killing my motivation to finish the build but no worries I'm not a quitter I finish what I start.

Harbor freight is having a big fathers day sale and I took advantage and purchased a 3/4 Ton load leveler for $22 what a deal.
It was good timing because a friend of mine dropped off a engine hoist today that I can use it on.
As soon as it stops raining it's time to get to work and boy do I have a lot of work to do.

I worked on removing the trailing arm crossmember today.
It goes without saying rivets are a nightmare, I was only able to get the top 4 out before fatigue in my hands wouldn't allow me to continue.
The heat and humidity is unbearable today.
I have 12 more rivets to remove on the underside of the frame another day, fun, fun.

I continued work on the trailing arm crossmember today.
The ever present problem of removing rivets persists, I got all of them out except one and in the process of attempting to remove it my hand strength gave out so I will have to finish it up another day.

Small update.
I managed to get the stock Trailing arm crossmember removed today.
After the paint dries I will install the CPP crossmember.
Next up is the installation of the CPP C-Notches.

This is off topic but I just purchased carbon metallic brake pads for the wifes Toyota Solara, you gotta love a brake pad where the hotter you get it the better it brakes and it lasts 4 to 5 times longer than a ceramic pad.

Off-topic update.
I changed the rear disk brake pads on my Wifes Toyota Solara today, man they are easy, I think it took me a total of 30 min to do both sides, when I got the car back on the ground I was like woah that was fast.
