Removed fenders and box for a trip to the body shop as someone frenched in some lights and it has since rusted. Shes going back to factory. Hooked up a TPS to the quadrajet

i done several burnouts and then went to my friends tire shop and got a new set of cooper cobra radial gt 275/60/15 it looks and handles a lot better i dont know why even make other sizes

Re-installed clutch return spring. Was looking under my truck for something, and saw the spring had come loose from the frame. Slid(? forced) my big fat behind under the truck and put it back on. Thought the clutch pedal felt funny.

yep just be sure to lay a piece of plasic wrap over whats left in the can (like a paint skin) then throw it in the freezer ..or whats left will be like a rock!!!
well I adjusted the drum brakes on the truck cleaned up the points lubed everything under the cap checked the tire presure...and loaded the chain saw!!...Yep its that time of the year again Fire wood season!!! |

hey on my wood detail today I scored an Apache pop up camper...the shell is good with all the hardware so I'm going to look into new canvas...if not it may get a chopped down tonue cover and I'll use it to haul my camping stuff..either way its a win

Re-installed a steering stabilizer I had just cleaned up & re-painted. While I had the creeper out, I changed oil & filter and greased all the zerks.
Nothing exciting, but it needed done....

Started redoing the brake system on the 72. Then went and took a look at a 69 for parts, yes it followed me home tonight.

I rebuilt all of the steering components and lowered the front end. Tomorrow the rear end, hopefully I'll get it done early enough the get it aligned.

i went to PAW to get some carb parts. They are closed now on weekends. I was a little upset about that. I position the truck right next to entry door and burned some rubber. I didn't bring a camera but here is a pick of a fender well.
