Re: Brave or crazy? crewcab build
I spent the weekend adjusting the 4th door and bodyworking the roof.
I finished the door but not the body work. I am really happy with all the gaps 1/8 in at the rear of the door and 3/16 between the 2 doors

Re: Brave or crazy? crewcab build
What's kinda sad is that outside of our little truck community, just about anyone else at a car show (or that sees the truck in general) will likely have no clue that 4th doors never existed on these trucks, nor were they any crew cabs built that looked this good (the aftermarket conversions are all fugly). So Kudos for tackling an incredible amount of work, making it look great and function, and most people will never know... those are the best mods

Re: Brave or crazy? crewcab build
I finished up the bodywork on the roof and shot some primer on it. Still need to block it out and reprime.

Re: Brave or crazy? crewcab build
I also pulled the front driver's door off to strip and bodywork.
I got down to bare metal and guess what I found, more rust. so I cut it out and fixed it.

Re: Brave or crazy? crewcab build
nice work as usual...wish I had the time to pull off a build like this. Would love to have a crew cab so I could fit my whole family inside....prefer the look of the truck to a suburban...

Re: Brave or crazy? crewcab build
I finished up the driver door this morning and hung it.
I also rebuilt the hinges and primed the a pillar. I'm glad all the doors are done only thing left is the cab corners/rear of cab.
