Re: How about some pics of 2wd Blazers, Jimmy's & Burbs?
I picked this 77 up for 500 bucks last year.
I instantly decided to "ruin it" as my wife says. My buddy had a 79 C10 Short Wide and wanted to swap chasis. I shortened it 9 inches, put 4 link in the rear and bagged the front. Still working on a few things to get it drivable, mostly the budget. |

No, the fuel tank is not mounted yet, just looks bad from that angle.
I prefit the body and everything looks good, took it back off to mount the tank brackets. Using a truck frame kinda sucked, I had to cut the frame to clear the floor and make the tank mounts fit. |

I dunno.. Your axle should be centered in the wheel well .. Even in the side shots you can clearly see it is forward of the center.. Link looks pretty good though..

Just another picture of my 79. I got rid of the 22's, now I can bring the front down.. and my front bumper should be in tomorrow. Hood hinges are next.

Here's a current pic with 31" tall tires. I shipped this up from Georgia about a month ago. Yes, the CL add was a topic of a post a while back. 2wd's are very rare up here. |
