Thanks, too much time/money in it to give it away; prolly end up hanging on to it (unfortunate, I know lol).

I don't want to try and put all the pictures and details here. It is a real 2wd, I have the factory protecto-plate.
I listed the 2wd Jimmy a couple of weeks ago and had a couple of people that wanted more pictures but no real interest. I hear people saying all the time they want a real 2wd Blazer / Jimmy. It is my experience that bone stock orignal 2wd units are real scarce. Is everyone as broke as me?

I don't think you are out of line on your pricing. The market is pretty tough though, just be patient the right buyer will come along. Have you tried to sell it through any other sites? If you were closer I would even consider buying it.

I have noticed also noticed that people seem to have a pretty tough time selling here on the board, I personally think that it's because everyone on here is so knowledgeable about these trucks. Almost to a fault.

You couldn't put ANY of these trucks together for the asking prices.

Good catch, it is. The VIN starts with a K. Definately a conversion, looks like a really nice one though.

Yep, I've been trying to figure out how to buy this.

Although I would be flamed for my intentions.

Not as much as the bounty would be on my head
when everyone finds out what I would do with it.

Someone should pick this one up, if I didn't have two trucks for sale I'd probably be taking a look at the very least.

Been eyeing that one also, just can't
justify the cost vs. the evil plans, lol.

I'm basing this solely off of visual knowledge and pickup comparisons...but why couldnt a 2wd Blazer have came with rear leaf springs? I'm almost positive I've seen factory 2wd Blazers come that way, and I've seen coil ones too. I've owned a 72 GMC 2wd that was a coil truck, despite what every book and auto parts computer told me existed. As for the hump, those can be unbolted and swapped around easily too right? I vaguely remember swapping in a high hump into Dad's 69 2wd Chevy because we had carpet that would fit high and not low.

Now the CDO in me is totally going to scope out the underside of every 2wd Blazer I encounter. hehe

I agree it's a conversion. 2wd Blazers all had trailing arms. The low hump is fixed - only the high hump unbolts.
