got in a couple hours last night, cut all the tack welds and busted the frame back apart, then i V-ground all the joints and tack welded the fish plates in, i got one rail ready to weld up and the other one ready to tack the fish plates in

made some more frame progress last night but forgot the camera...! DOPE !

We did get a nice care package in the mail for Square Peg yesteday , thank you VIAIR for coming on board with project Square Peg !

it might be a good idea to coat the fishplates with some weldprimer , you cant get to it later on unless you have the frame dipped in zinc

when you do that just make sure you done all the welding you need done on the frame , welding on galvernized stuff can give you the mother of all headackes

idea's for the trucks and the order of things to do are taking shape and get closer to being realized , a few more months and i be able to start building for real

i complete 2 of the trucks intoo running fashion one custom and one basicly stock the thirth will be sacrificed for parts

Looks awesome! How straight is it? I know that welding tube sections will pull it all out of whack. Most of the time you can heat the opposite side with a rosebud and quench it with water to pull it back.
