Re: What Did You Do With Your Truck Today ?

Im cheating. I have a 1950 (It fits the year requirements of the thread) International L110.
I moved the front frame brace back about 8" to shorten the frame horns.

Bent some 5/8" bar stock into ring to create a place to pass the frame brace through.

FINALLY got our 1949 engine jerry-rigged onto our engine stand! Can't wait to take it apart, clean it, and get it running again

I also got really bored when the power went out and created this fun way to stay motivated:

Looks good crossfire84 with BB thier should be no shortage of torque or power. I live about 100 mi. north of you and found if I work with doors and windows closed fan running at floor level the humidity and heat isn't as bad.

Re: What Did You Do With Your Truck Today ?

It's 96 here, still too hot to do any outside work but I did get my radiator overflow tank installed. This tank is out of a Ford van (can I use that word here, LOL) I just wandered around Pull-A-Part until I saw one that looked like I wanted. It fits good and only took a couple of "L" brackets to bolt it up. I also got a windshield washer bottle and pump out of an S-10 but haven't installed that yet.

Yes, nice tools, cold beer (kept cold in one's beer fridge, stationed in the garage). Just wish the neighbors didn't like nice tools and cold beer so much. What brand of plasma cutter do you have. Mine is a Miller 675 Extreme. It works well. Good luck with your hood.

I'd like to see some pics of that procedure. I have the one piece glass and the power assembly, but I don't have the channel and the seal/whiskers. I'll be paying attention and begging for pics.

Re: What Did You Do With Your Truck Today ?

I am planning on looking at the truck through the kitchen window while drinking iced tea. Too blasted hot out and looking for 106 today in S Indiana. I did do some bed wood work this morning from 7-8:30.
