this is the new to me frame that I will be using for my truck!!

Really good to speak to you, Paul and Brandon yesterday Chad.

I have to laugh at all the stuff we do get up to with these truck.

Frame swap will be a good thing I suspect.

And once you have given it the Chad-attention...... It will be great.

yes Rian, it was really good talking to you!! the 70's frame I have been thinking was bend since the motor crossmember was cracked an the frame was a bit closer to the ground on the passenger side! after some measuring, so I got a frame from Paul (Neveno) to swap!

SO as of today after work I blasting the frame in are standup blaster at work and did the motor crossmember in are blasting cabinet so not to mess up the threads for the upper control arms! tomorrow I'm stitch welding in captainfab's power steering bracket to the frame, also I might not need to put a plate on the inside of the frame for the power steering, but I'm going to just cause it's not going to hurt anything if I do!!

on to the pics!!

You must be feeling pretty pleased right now Chad.

Really pleased you and the Ada Boys Club "ABC" we're able to get this all sorted out.

I just got in from an all day out road trip to do various things with a friend, no truck time yet. Will post random trip report later.

Look forward to paint and shinny chassis.

lol, yes but first before paint, I have to leave town for a week! On Monday I go to Nebraska, which for some that don't know that's two states away for work! Then the second week of June I'm going to California for my niece's graduation for a week!

I also hear about my seat covers they will be done the first part of next week so soon I'll have an update for them

Re: my '64 c-10 swb project with steel floor from a '70

so some might remember back right before x-mas I had started building my own trailing arms! I have been working on them a lil here and there! well this week I really worked on them to get them almost finished, I got two flat brackets to measure out for the Camaro sway bar to attach to them, and to weld two tabs for the panhard bar to attach to the passenger side arm!

I also move the two holes for the axle back 1/2"

Re: my '64 c-10 swb project with steel floor from a '70

I also had to make my own brackets to mount the trailing arms to the cross member, since I went with the 3" ballistic joints, had I went with there 2.??" ones the factory mounts would have worked! but No I wanted the BIGGER BEEFER ones with the 1-1/4"-12 threaded shank!

anyways back to the bracket, I got some 4" square tubing we had around the shop, cut two pieces to 6-7"! I had bought some POL trailing mounts that wouldn't work an just copied them but made them wider to work with the bigger joints! I did have to make some spacers for each side of the tabs that the bolt will go thru!

Re: my '64 c-10 swb project with steel floor from a '70

more pics of the mounts, these mounts will let me adjust my pinion angle as will, I'll tig the spacers to the mount in the mourning an pull the bolts out! there just there to hold the spacers where I need them
