Yes we do have to watch him. He already has backed the golf cart out of the building and was going over to Hadley's back last fall when I stopped him. He is only 4!

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Yeah, the employees have an attitude.

I bought a box (limit one) of 9 MM a while back and the last time all I could get was a couple of cases of 12G shells from two pallets they had just brought in.

The ammo shelves have been bare lately except for obscure calibers.

I made the 80 mile trek to the cemetery where my brother and grandparents are buried. Mom passed in 2019 and Dad passed in January, I bought a plot so their ashes can be buried together, forever..

Sorry for all your loss but good on you to be honoring your family.

On the ammo subject I purchased one box of .38's in all of 2020. Traded a very specific box of factory Remington .30-06 to a guy for some more .38's and some CCI .22 LR. I've also sold a few guns that I never use and replaced them with fewer items that have wanted for a long time. If I remain frugal in my shooting I don't need to buy any ammo for a good while. The main thing I am doing is waiting patiently to get the call I'm all clear and can pick up my suppressor. Got my trust and everything already set up, just waiting now.

I got too many hobbies and not enough time or $$.

57TaskForce - That's a nice piece of hardware. I've only owned one 7.62x39 and it was a Russian SKS. I didn't keep it long as I took it in on a partial trade for a jet ski. A buddy of mine was trying to get an SKS from every country that ever produced them and he didn't have a nice, machined Russian so I sold it to him.

Nice, I’ve got a surplus yugo SKS-M59/66 with the grenade launcher set up and tritium night sights that still glow, it’s a LOT more accurate than the AK is I bought it from a friend of a friend a few years ago still in cosmilene.

I’ve been building a 7.62 AR for a little while now. Getting closer to being done. I’m gonna buy the rest of the parts to finish it real soon. Seems like gun law changes may be coming.

I had mine out on the picnic table yesterday cleaning them up and a flying saucer swooped down and sucked them all up into the lower portal. Good thing I had my foil beanie on or I would have been a goner....

What I did ,,i'm about ashamed at myself.. who'd of thinked that when I went to check my transmission by way of the fluid dip stick in my truck ,.I couldn't find the transmission stick ..looked it up in the book and it told me to not worry about fluid in there unless it was hot or something. No dip stick for the tranny,,

I've heard of some not having dipsticks. Also some don't come with spare tires apparently. Econo sedans.

Or 2010-15 SS, RS,Zl1,Z/28 Camaros...(and all the newer vettes and Camaros and a lot more) mine has neither of those things from the factory only the V6 non RS 18” wheels will fit in the spare tire well. Other than that you got a slime/compressor kit from GM... tranny dipsticks can be had aftermarket for pretty cheap for the 6L80 and 6L90 in the cars. As of the last Gen of trucks they still have the dipstick.

Re: What did you do today not on your truck...

I have known of "run flat" tires for quite some time and thought they only came on upper end cars most likely. A former employee bought a new Dodge Dart some years ago and said it did not have a spare or jack from the factory. I thought foowee but he said he went to the dealer asking about it and was told it wasn't supposed to have a spare or jack. And he had a flat.. I don't know. Is that real?

It’s absolutely real on my Camaro. No jack, nothing, just a 12v compressor and a can of fix a flat...

yes sir,i know all about these cars without spares.lots of BMW cars, some Honda Fits,Fiat 500's,Audi's.some with run flat tires instead.some of them have a spare tire that is delated to take up less room and a compressor to inflate it.you'd be in a mess if your compressor bit the dust?i just retired last year from CAA,the Canadian version of AAA.we'd go to calls everyday for cars with no spares.the call takers would even ask if they had a spare and were told, yes of course we have a spare.we'd head off knowing just by the car,we were off on a fool's errand and the car would end up on a tow truck.most folks had no idea and some would get cranky when we'd flip up the truck mat and there's nothing or a little do-dickey can of tire goo and a 10 cent air compressor, like in my own mustang GT convertible.the last time the car was into the Ford dealer for new tires, they had on the invoice,$89.00 for a can of tire sealant?when i questioned them why they would change it when it never had been used?it has an expiry date, they said?i told them to put the old back in,i'll never use it anyway.i laughed at the man at the Goodyear store, when i was pricing run flat tires for my last Mustang gt convertible and they were $2500.00 so i said no,i'll find regular tires for the car.he said you have no spare, you wouldn't put regular tires on it would you?i watch me i said.he said what if you get a flat.i'll call CAA.

Re: What did you do today not on your truck...

In the never-ending search for mileage claims, the manufacturers leave out the spare tire, and then sell it to you for stupid money. In spite of the rip-off of that system, every vehicle we've bought in the last 6 years has had the "spare" tire purchased at the time of sale. Before people get too wrapped around the axle, just remember that our trucks didn't come with a spare unless we purchased it! And then it might have only been the wheel, which is good for exactly what, when your truck has a flat tire?

Yeah, the spare tire was an option on my first pickup, the 1973 K20.

I ordered the optional lock also, which rusted up and I had to crawl under with vice grips and unscrew the other bolt to get at my spare tire, while on a very narrow shelf road at the top of a 1000 foot rockslide. Some things you remember.
