My "new" 87 Burb with Choo Choo Customs roof and basic interior conversion. Has a TBI 350, and has the prerequisite 2HI, 4LO, 4HI shifter in the floor...

Re: How about some pics of "4x4" Blazers, Jimmy's & Burbs?

Here is a picture of my recent purchase. A 1988 V10, 5.7, TH700R4, 4x4 with 150K on it. I am new to the site but have had a 1986 M1009 for about 16 years now so I almost know the Suburban other then the 5.7 gasser with TBI. I will have lots of questions on the Suburban in the future. I did have to rebuild the rear brakes and am waiting on speedo parts at present.

Re: How about some pics of "4x4" Blazers, Jimmy's & Burbs?

Not too many at this time. It needs tires so I plan on 33x10.50-15. I need the space for kids and friends and the M1009 I am running now is too noisy and small. I need to fix a few things on the Suburban...slow windows, all door locks not working, and dash replacement...then maybe rear speakers. In the end I plan on swapping out the 5.7 for a diesel but it will be awhile....if it happens???. Since the speedo is out on it I have some issues with the VSS....(i.e engine), the converter lockup and the cruise....all of which I hope will be corrected with the new speedo gears. Time will tell.

Here's my '91 V2500 4x4. Has been my daily driver for 13 years but tired of CA. smog so picked up a smog exempt '72 suburban and offering this one up for sale to help restore the '72.

Re: How about some pics of "4x4" Blazers, Jimmy's & Burbs?

Hey guys. Here is my 88 Suburban, I love her! Mine like most is a work in progress... V20 3/4 ton Silverado with SM465. Just rebuilt the 350 30 over with a mild cam and flat top pistons, new clutch and complete cooling system: makes for a noticeable difference There are some beautiful trucks on this site! Hopefully I'll have some more pics soon.

This is my '84 K5 Silverado, I'm second owner, had it now 28 years. It's down now with a transmission leak I haven't sorted out yet.
