Re: The 6.0 Silverado Build
Agreed. Great looking truck! Any plans for the power plant?

Re: The 6.0 Silverado Build
Sorry guys for not getting any updates. The truck is pretty much the same as when I got it from Josh. I've been ordering parts though and may find the time to install them this weekend.
I decided I couldn't live with the factory truck intake, so I ordered a complete Ls2 takeoff intake with rails, injectors, and covers. I also ordered a Edelbrock 90mm throttle body since it is cable driven and I wanted to keep it that way. After I get everything on I'm going to get after it with HpTuners and try to get a base tune in it. I'll try to get pics after the install. |

Re: The 6.0 Silverado Build
I've been covered up with work and the holiday. I got a little time last night, so I pulled off all the accessories, and the radiator out. If time permits tonight I'm going to go ahead and slide the new cam in it. I ordered a small 224 228 .590 for it. I'm still debating whether to port a set of heads for it, or just leave the heads alone for now. I think it would be just as easy to change heads as it would to change valve springs on the motor.
I still have to order a stall converter for it and figure out what I'm going to do for electric fans. It's winter time though so I've got several months to get it all worked out. |
