Re: What did you do to your truck today part II.
I loaded my sons bike and mine and drove it to a friends house in Lafayette Ca to install a ceiling fan and then go for a ride. OH yeah had to feed her too.

Re: What did you do to your truck today part II.
Got the drivers side LCA, spring and spindle on. Had to drill out the holes for the bigger u bolts. All the hard stuff done! Tomorrow calipers new pads, dust sheild, new ruber brake lines. I found out I need to shorten my steering shafy about an inch but I'll get to that later.

It's great to see the truck back on the pages. The seats look fantastic.

Re: What did you do to your truck today part II.
Ordered a set of 6 Ross Racing custom pistons for my 292 I6 today. 6 pistons with rings and wrist pins. Specs:
Ross Forged piston 18 CC dish .40 over Piston weight 542 grams These will give me about 9.5.1 compression. Also nice cause they're made for the stock rod length which means I can use stock rods. So..can't wait for them to show up!

I am quite jealous of you attending these shows. Nicola suggested you find someone from the forums who is going, and attach yourself to the underside of their truck on the entry. Maybe a bit like this....... like an illegal alien
