Re: Al's 71C10 Rebuild
this morning I spent a little time recleaning everything that I could not see last night and as VA72C10 suggested I painted the lines and I must say they definetly look better..
tonight I am going to retighten all the fittings as I saw some brake fluid by the crossmember and I am sure that I am going to have some leaks here and there. So I guess let the real fun begin chasing leaks.

Re: Al's 71C10 Rebuild
Well tonight we decided that it was time to just finish the brakes before the holidays got here then there would be no time to play with the truck. I could not decide where to install the proportioning valve I thought I was set in putting iit in the frame somewhere then we dedided that the easiest place to install it would be right off the master cilynder and call it a day. we went ahead and remade that line one more time installed the proportioning valve on it installed the clamps for both lines bled the brakes checked for leaks and I think that we can say that the brakes are FINISHED!!!!! of course I have to drive it and make adjusments on the valve, the pedal feels good where is at.
The life of my story still waiting on wheels I am about to call Coys and buy another set till my wheels decide to show up. here are some crappy cell picts to show the final assy.

I am trying my best not to display my excitement with anticipation. I spoke to the vendor yesterday and he was checking on all his Billet specialties orders. They claim that they are a bit behind because of SEMA. I asked for a more concrete answer other than they are behind so stay tuned for an update
