That's my 74 pictured. the engine is stuck and rearend locked up. Actuallly I have over a dozen of those square cab trucks in my hoard. And I will sell them or sell parts from them. There are 2 four wheel drive long bed trucks and a blazer 4 wheel drive in the mix. I have a really clean solid 83 truck. 1/2 ton sicxcyl three speed power steering. no air cond or power brakes. good title. runs but the engine has a deep knock. I suspect some old guy drove with his foot resting on the clutch pedal and the thrust main is ruined. Orpossibly a loose flywheel. Ive got a real good 71 350 four bbl engine that im temped to install in it. and use the dual exhaust & rallye wheels from the blue and white 74.

Just a few of the 67 thru 72,s I hav in my hoard. They are all viable projects and have clear titles. I have somewhere around a 100 chevy trucks.

I have actually driven these trucks. the last truck pictured appears to have lived a hard life before I got it. The Red 3/4 my wifes daddy bought new in dec of 65 its a 66 truck.

This 55 GMC is no longer setting and rotting in my hoard. I sold it to a guy in Wisconsin. He showed up with a solid cab he had picked up out in the panhandle and a 347 engine. We put the engine in the back of his suburban and placed the cab on top of the GMC bed. the GMC has a 287 Pontiac and stick. It runs and drove up on the trailer. I wonder if he had any problems on the way back to Wisconsin?

I like the GMC trucks. they have rear leaf springs. My daily for the past 4 years has been a 66 GMC. its a 1/2 ton with a 250 six SM 420 four speed and Dana 44 with 336 gears. It was on a rollback headed to the scrapper when I got it. Put on a mediocre front cap and fixed the brakes , clean carb and convert to electronic ignition. and I use it hard. It pulls trailers and hauls stuff no trouble.

Its a hobby that has gotten out of hand. Im a hoarder but I do occasionally sell something and sell some to the scrapper. scrap is $200 a ton at present. So I likely will haul a few loads of rusty stuff in. I have a understanding wife. But I do realize Im in the winter of my life. So I have slowed down on adding to my hoard. I only bought three last year and sold one of them. Glad you enjoy the pictures
