Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Trucks
Hey RatRod, trucks looks pretty sweet. All ya gotta do now is spring for some red powder coating on those wheels and some white walls.

Re: My 1994 Part 2
Lol, would you believe me if I told you they were for the kitchen floor! LMAO! I had a friend buy one for me from a 50's place on Amazon.com and you know how gearheads think... " what could I do with that, i'm never in the kitchen that much?!" Lol, so yep, I bought two and they fit PERFECTLY! The material has the rubber bottom so they don't slide out of my truck and yet they still mold to the flooring! I LOVE EM'! Glad you like em' too!

Funny you say that! I have been on this topic with myself FOREVER. I have gone back and forth about it... sadly, I've seen this happen far too often on this truck model and I just don't like the way it looks... some of them dropped to the ground look ok, but the stock height.... just looks ...off. I did manage to find a nice set of rims I would get if I end up doing that....*posted below* Or I would just powdercoat, like you said, the rims I have! I'm a huge fan of the Outlaw I American Racing rims... i don't have to deal with breakdust! And as for the Whitewalls.. I'm not sure i'd ever go with them... I like meaty tires *mine are 33 in the back and 31 in the front 15's all around....they don't make them that big that i can find... :/ THanks for the comment either way |

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Trucks
Girl, that is truly a one of a kind ride. I like it ALOT. I dislike the flames on the wheel/dash, but I think everything else is awesome. Going for an almost 50s gasser look, I would love to see that truck with some wide white walls and maybe Cragar SS or chrome reverse wheels. Too cool.

No problem! Thanks again everyone for all the comments by the way! As for the stereo, I was new to wiring so my Dad supervised! lol, This picture was taken a long while ago *you can tell the seats and inside weren't changed out yet*, but its still looks the exact same! And works as good as ever!!!! 10'S were all I needed! I'm sure most people driving around me wouldn't be happy to listen to my Country, Rock, or Oldies blasting if I had any bigger!!! lol P.s. sorry for the crappy picture of me, it was pretty hot outside that day! lol |

You can make them as long as the tire has white letters.

Oh yea!!! I forgot about this, I've seen this before on youtube! I was actually pretty pumped about doing something like this once, but when I bought my Nitto Dune Grapplers recently... they have no white lettering... But besides that, they had the flames on the side which was the whole point behind getting them! That was to make up for boring tires. I'll search around craigslist and maybe give this a go with a tester set! Thanks for the vid post! |

Re: My 1994 Part 2
Are they actually running off the headers or just for show?

Re: My 1994 Part 2
They are NOT just for show. I have tubing running from my headers, to a muffler, to a dual port high flow cat x pipe, then molded around the chassis and coming out from both sides behind the doors. Welded to the chassis to keep away from the paint. They work, are loud as HELLo, and I LOVE THEM! |

Re: My 94' Part 1
.
Also, a word of advice, have someone there to help you! lol! It takes tweeking to get it to fit flush with the side finders I have two tiny chrome screws zipped in on either side to keep it pushed out. Other wise the rollpan, a Sir Michaels Roll Pan, will bend in a little once its tightened down! Good luck! |

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Trucks
What do ya'll think about this? Like I said, i don't like whitewalls at all, so they're out of the question for me.... BUT I have been trying to force my red interior out to the exterior, so what would be a better way than this! .....
My horrible attempt at paint/copy/paste! |

Re: How about some pics of 88-98 Trucks
That looks good. You could always put Porta-Walls on there.
