They weren't punched out. There should be some indentations where they should be but you can't just punch them out because they are not cut through far enough. You have to drill them. LockDoc

Re: Project 67 DRGNWGN - 67 Burban!!
I put new drums on my Burb last year and the new 6 lug drums were the same way. What a pain. I figure I'll drill a couple 3/8" holes and cut out the rest to an oval shape.

Here is a picture. From the outside of the drum to the first cut is 5/8" to the second cut is 1". This is the front but I would think they would be the same. About an inch long. LockDoc

Re: Project 67 DRGNWGN - 67 Burban!!
got a little done this past week. decided not to run my bags over the axle for now. i cut it all out and moved them back to the trailing arms. i bought some new shocks..believe are from a 96 turd f150. they are long as hell but have nearly 10" travel so they work. also got my fuel lines ran and clamped.

You would have to fab the hood plates and get your own hardware. I’ll sell them cheap.

Re: Project 67 DRGNWGN - 67 Burban!!
got the front clip back on to see where I'm at. hope I won't have to pull em again for paint but I guess I'll find out when I get there. working on the hood struts tomorrow. then I think it's time to repaint the dash so I can get this windshield back in

Re: Project 67 DRGNWGN - 67 Burban!!
thank you.
i got started on trying to get the hood struts mounted...but the weather wouldnt cooperate. i started off with a steel bushing and welding a nut on each end to thread the top of the strut too. well, these struts will not collapse by hand, and where i wanted to weld the top attatchment wouldnt work. so i had to extend the bracket out by welding another pipe to it. still, it wouldnt reach. i had to weld a third pipe but didnt like the open look of the pipe ends. so i made some little sheetmetal pieces to weld over it. hope it doesnt look too janky. going to try and make the other side tomorrow and tack it to the hood to see if they work out. ps, get some pb hinges...this is too much work lol.

Re: Project 67 DRGNWGN - 67 Burban!!
nothing exciting but i got the harness fully in (minus the battery connections to the battery). i havent decided really where the pcm, fuse block, and tac module will mount just yet. have to work on getting the battery tray in and hopefully some inner fenders mounted. also been throwing grounds left and right and everywhere in between lol. have 2 from the engine to frame (one on each side), 2 front cab to frame. battery to frame. battery to engine. middle of the truck has 2 body to frame grounds (one on each side). when the tray comes in i will make a radiator to frame ground...and also waiting on a ground bus bar which will mount to the rear of the frame and ground my fuel pump, rear body to frame, and also rear tail lights. yes, i know its a lot of grounds.
