Re: 58 GMC Project
Your build is inspiring. I hope to make the next year's ('08) show scene. Maybe we'll get to meet.

Re: 58 GMC Project
Yep, you’re Kabwe. They are never done and if they were, it's time to sell it and start a new project. You have to excuse my son, 02snoma, he's not very modest.

Re: 58 GMC Project
58
I along with quite a few others here in the forum have followed this build for the last two years. 35 pages, 862 posts and over 59,000 viewing. This build has been a gauge for myself and I'm sure others as to the quality of their own build. A tip of the proverbial hat and a hand clap for a job well done Cal. My only regret is living so far away from your truck now ( I did live in Santa Monica a long time ago BC ...before children) and not being able to see it in person. Brian ...

Re: 58 GMC Project
Well man you've done a great job on your truck. You made some hellava nice choices on your build. It looks so nice sitting on the ground like that, you got me thinking of air bags. Look man you are making me nuts I already change my front clip to a 55 now I'm thinking bags.lol If I keeping going to shows and looking at pics I will never get done. I change things all the time. But enough about me great looking truck man.

Re: 58 GMC Project
Hi Cal 58, thanks for the input on my thread. I have a question about your headers, what make and model are yours? Are they designed to fit your subframe -- Camaro-specific? Thanks in advance.

Re: 58 GMC Project
The headers are Tech Flow Shorties and are for a Camaro.

Re: 58 GMC Project
The Tahoe is gettin all the love while the 61 hibernates in warm dry storage. Not such a bad thing because I've acquired more skills and better taste in the mean time Thanks for the inspiration

Re: 58 GMC Project
Hi Cal,
Could you please provide me with the measurement of your buckets seats...I need to know the height of the bottom seat cushion, front and rear. Also, did you recover old seats or are they new? Thanks a bunch |
