Rick,
Pointing to the right (driver side) is factory correct. The "Keep your truck GM" sticker is adhered to the left of the snorkel, so it can be seen seen directly onwards if the snorkle is turned to the left (driver side). I personally think it looks odd to see it to the right. Although, some guys point it that way.
