Buddy, you have enough projects that you should find a used rollback & swap the stuff around to have a C50 rollback. Move your projects where ever & when ever; Dino style!

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

the crew or burb would look badass on the back of a c50 roll back sitting at a show...

kinda like this pic-(I know I know it's really rough, but I think it gets the idea across...)

I like that idea of finding another set of fenders and boards and mirroring the fender opening. If not that, then a narrowed set of dually/stepside fenders?

But the rollback idea is pretty cool too.

I think it scrambled your brain...

Is the switch and volume control thing you speak of a commercially available thing?

Hey Dino,... this picture was taken in Pomona, CA,... at the 2011 Grand National Roadster Show.
I thought maybe you had made a trip west already!
Just a few differences.
Barn doors, Supremes, Lake Pipes,... and the stance isn't quite as LOW as yours. Ha.

So when you have a house party you just crank up your toys and it becomes a block party.

Re: A Suburban Joins The Herd

Yesterday I was having computer issues with my work computer, lots of waiting, lot's of restarts, etc. Anyway, it's a home office and my home PC is sitting here next to me and loaded to this build thread. I managed to go through all 36 pages during the slow work minutes. I have a few comments, not necessarily in order.

First, because it is the 1st of february and this has been a hellacious winter so far, I am envious of your winters. I had to clean up another foot of snow last night and we already had about 3' on the ground. Car shows in december? Can't imagine it. But I'll take my summers, short as they are, over yours anyday.

Second, You guys have a nice group of enthusaists down there. It looks like real fun. Lots of socializing. For me, living up in the corn fields in fly-over country, the board here satisfies some of that itch. I'm hoping to get one of mine out to some meets or cruises this summer.

3rd, I really like this build. It's not something I would build because it's just over the top cool, and that's not me. Now I think I like this style of burb more than the 67-72, which a couple days ago was not the case. I like the big sliding windows, the roof line, very cool. That would be a very rare rig up this way. I might have the only 69-72 blazer/jimmy for dozens of miles in my area.

Anyway, Thanks for posting up the builds. I've enjoyed it, learned some things, and look forward to the C-50 build. I also went through the lifted truck build you did and like how that turned out too.
