so this thread inspired me to do a resto mod like this...
and.. well two years later ive not gotten a dang thing done because i have not had anytime to even get to it!.. grrrr..
i understand why it's so long for youto get done... wife and three kids and school so far.. house crap left and right and well.. a 4th on the way..
seling the project to a buddy.. hope he can get it done.

Awesome work as always FF! I haven't visited this thread in a while....my mistake. I thought I was subscribed...ooops. Now, I'm kinda glad I wasn't because you have kicked some serious butt since last visit.

It's like a train wreck, it's so ugly... it's freakin' awesome. I didn't have time to read through it all, but I would go with the sleeper look. Original looking rims and hubcaps and a quiet exhaust that would dust anything at a redlight. It's a Youtube video just waiting to happen. Z06 vs. Sunbeam Minx.

Good thing you didn't stop by regularly because there was a whole lotta nuthin going on for a while. I have another 4 days off starting tomorrow!

It's got a face only a mother could love ...It's defiantly grown on me. I initially thought I'd do something different for the grill but I'm diggin it now.

I kept the original wheels and caps. Plan on getting them redrilled for the new 5-lug pattern and running them occasionally. It'll be a hectic ride though; those tire are tiny (185/60/13 or so).

Won't be runnin with vettes with those tires, but should be some fun driftage

as for stock steelies with hubcaps, you should look into the dodge caliber stock steelies. they are 17"
