Hey Frizzle, I thought you were grafting in the taillights from a fleetside pickup? Am I thinking of someone else's build or have you just not been able to get to that point yet? Regardless, one of a kind build, that thing looks SWEET, even without paint. Good Job.

Thanks guys. I'm diggin it too. Anyone notice the 69-72 lower trim with the 68 clip? Not sure I've seen that done before. I'm doing it because 1) I don't want to buy 67-68 side trim, and 2) I need it there to make the separation in paint colors. What colors? Well I still have time to waver all over the place on that but right now I'm leaning toward Red/White...
On the tails, yes that is still planned. I just wanted to get it back together and driving before I start slicing again. The quarter windows are new. They cannot cut tempered glass (or weren't willing to). I made a template and had new ones cut/tempered. Cost only $180 for the pair. The new rubbers cost almost as much as the glass at $145/pr  TVBlazer, that was cool for us both to be in the same mag from the same board. I can't wait till mine is as complete as yours. Cool story on yours too. That's a keeper

Hey I thought I would just say friggin cool what u done so far. Can u tell me where u got the metal for around the tail lights I need a left side and I did not think they even made them. So if u can help me out with some info that would be great. Thanks Terry

The truck tail sections had to be "rescued" from a truck bed. They'll be treated well on the back of this
Man I need a digital video cam. Today when I moved it back into the shop I rev'ed it a bit and OH MAN does it sound good!!! No I have not been driving it. Just moved it out for some fresh air and back in. Now it's ready for some major upgrades. I wanted to drive it before winter but the rain will be here tomorrow...I gotta let you guys hear this thing though.
