Re: Project "What was I Thinking" 68 SWB
Thanks for the comments guys. The rear is done, all except for the tubular crossmember for the rear of the frame and the lower bag mounts. I'm going to wait to weld the lower bag mounts until I get driveshaft and setup my driveline. I wanted to get everything for the dropmember installed and bolted up so I didn't have time to do the rear crossmember. I'll get to that when I install the front dropmember. Anyways pics as promised.

Re: Project "What was I Thinking" 68 SWB
Thanks, that's why I decided to make the change. I wanted a really low ride height with the benefits of laying frame when I want to. To me the Dropmembers allow me to have my cake and eat it too.
Thank you, should be able to get the front done in a couple of weeks. Will be busy until then. Quote:

Re: Project "What was I Thinking" 68 SWB
If you are referring to the things with the 3 holes in it that would be the upper bag mount..
Keith hasn't replied since you asked your question. Sarcasm isn't necessary! Be patient sir

Re: Project "What was I Thinking" 68 SWB
Haha
I am a very impatient man, sadly I meant in the bed, like some people have humps in the bed..Made of wood is it just like the ones made of metal ?

Re: Project "What was I Thinking" 68 SWB
They're all pretty much made of metal, some guys just cover them with wood or some with metal. I hope that answers your question
