Re: My 93 Crewcab Build
Hey i did something to it today
Put the harness in for the power windows and put the door panels on and got it all working. And even managed to get the head liner out so i can recover it. |

What are you using to recover it with? Make sure you takes some pics. I'll be recovering my headliner too in the not too distant future.

Re: My 93 Crewcab Build
There is a fabric place by the house that sells the stuff that has the thin foam already on it and it works really good. I took the old off yesterday and will recover this weekend i hope. Ill take some pics of the process for ya.

Re: My 93 Crewcab Build
Got the headliner finished up the other night. I actually used a sander to get the old foam off by just using the edge of the paper on a DA as it spun it peeled it right off and then sanded it smoother to get the rest.
Material with the foam on it already. I started at one end and sprayed about a foot and half and all the way across the board and used a foam paint roller to roll it in. Still have to cut the holes for the visors and dome light. The Masking tape in pics above is where the grab handles were. Still have to get the plastics all washed and cleaned up and painted grey to match everything but you get the idea. Last edited by scotts62; 08-24-2012 at 10:08 PM. |

Re: My 93 Crewcab Build
There is a place not far from the house that sells it, not sure if it is sold online or not. $15 a yard and cheap i thought.. i got 3 yards but i could have made 2 work but wanted to make sure i had enough.

Headliner looks good man. Let me know if you want to start doing that on the side too. I have people come in every now and then asking if I know someone that does headliners.

Re: My 93 Crewcab Build
Do you have any extra interior pieces floating around. I'm in need of the piece that goes on inbetween the front and back door on both sides
